THE WIZARD OF OZ.(1939)
This movie is AMAZING! If you have yet to watch, well the story is about a girl named Dorothy and her dog Toto. There is a hurricane one day and it blew the house to land over the rainbows and far away! The house eventually landed on the wicked witch of the east and killed, gaining a pair of magical shoes to Dorothy. Wanting to go back home, she heads off to a journey of the yellow bricks to the land of Oz, meeting the scarecrow, the tin man and the cowardly lion who became her good friends. Along the way, the wicked witch of the west will try to stop them, afterall, Dorothy killed her sister!
So yes, first and foremost, Dorothy is gorgeous in this movie! I think I was honestly born in the wrong era! Why are ladies in the olden time have such beauty! Classic beauty I tell you! My question now is only, where have all the genes gone to over the generations eh?
The movie had tons of songs as well. It was incredibly bubbly if you ask me! Love how they created the scenery, especially the munchkin land! All the pretty people in pretty clothes! Must watch it again!
WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. (1971)
The SWEETest movie ever! If you get what I mean ;) If only this place truly exists! I was quite impressed with this movie honestly. True, it was not as "exciting" or as animated or as over the top as the willy wonka movie made in 2005, but I feel the subtleness of this one was really captivating. Especially the Oompa Loompa! See the orange-faced people who like little carrot people? Yeah, they are the Oompa Loompa people in this movie! I prefer these guys over the ones in the new people. I thought they were much more adorable and lovable! Well, with that said, do watch it (:
